Tittsworth – 12 Steps [2008]

August 10, 2008

Tittsworth’s debut album, the not so annonymous 12 Steps, showcases his talent as producer, not content with simply editing and remixing other people’s music. Instead, he has crafted an original record of beats and songs that draw from different genres and places on the map, demonstrating the full gamut of Tittworth’s vision.

I love the song titles on this album. And yeah, the music is good.

01) Haiku
02) Wtf
03) Broke Ass Nigga
04) Almond Joy
05) Bumpin
06) 911
07) Drunk As Fuck
08) B-Rocking
09) Here He Comes
10) Tear The Club 2008
11) 4.21
12) Tittsworth Theme

Emancipator – Soon It Will Be Cold Enough

February 29, 2008

Emancipator is a collection of beautiful mistakes
captured from the aural ether.

Emancipator escaped from the Underground Railroad Chain Gang in the 11th century. He invented the hot air balloon, with which he chartered the Amazon River. He invented wine.

Emancipator found the formula for the crystallization of ice during a quiet Japanese winter. He perfected the art of agriculture. He can climb trees faster than you.

Emancipator bleeds ambrosia. He discovered Iceland. He can breathe underwater.

Emancipator lives in a fortress made of moon rock. His presence attracts songbirds. He can recite all the digits of pi.

Emancipator can do a barrel roll by pressing Z or R once.

Incorporating violins, keys, various samples and the occasional voice sample, this Emancipator has put together a release more than worthy of the attention of record labels. The fact that this album was funded not by a record label, but by a college student records in his spare time, is quite admirable. He has recently been signed to Hydeout Productions, which will be releasing Soon It Will Be Cold Enough on April 25th.
