The Wackness is a movie about a kid on a mission: make some money in the summer before his freshman year to save his parents from eviction. What to do, what to do? Perhaps selling weed out of an ice cream cart? Perfect.
Set in ’94 New York City, The Wackness is chock full of great old school rap. Check out B.I.G., Nas, Krs-One, A Tribe Called Quest, and other classics.

Pardon my hiatus, it just took me that long to find something new that I found worth posting about.
Here’s Chicago’s dynamic duo of Chuck Inglish and Mikey Rocks, otherwise known as “The Cool Kids.” This is their latest internet-only release, “That’s Stupid The Mixtape.” These guys have been making a lot of noise lately, having toured with Kanye West recently, currently in Europe touring, and also being on the bill for Lollapalooza this year.
Dig it.
